Application:

• When bolt hole heater is inserted into a hollow bolt, the transferred heat causes the bolt to expand and increase in length, allowing the nut to be further wrenched tightened.

• When the heater is removed the bolt cools and contracts, drawing down further the previously tightened nut, the higher the wattage the faster the expansion.
