HEATED HOSE

A Heated Hose is a flexible hose assembly that incorporates electrical heating elements to maintain or raise the temperature of the fluid (liquid or gas) flowing through it. It’s designed to prevent cooling, freezing, or solidification of the contents as it travels through the hose.

A heated hose combines:

  • An inner hose (made from PTFE, rubber, silicone, or stainless steel),
  • A resistive heating element (wrapped around or integrated),
  • Thermal insulation (glass fiber, silicone foam),
  • An outer protective jacket (stainless steel braid, silicone, or braided polyester),
  • And temperature sensors (thermocouple or RTD) for accurate control.

The system is designed to keep the fluid at a consistent set temperature from the source to the point of use.
