A Strip Finned Heater is a type of electric heater that combines a metal-sheathed strip heating element with metal fins to increase surface area and improve heat transfer, especially for air heating applications.
It is essentially a flat strip heater with metal fins (usually aluminized steel or stainless steel) attached along its length. When energized, the heater transfers heat to the fins, which then efficiently radiate or convect heat into the surrounding air. This makes it ideal for applications where fast, uniform air heating is required.

Industrial Strip Finned Heaters are high-quality, coiled nickel-chrome resistor wire is uniformly spaced over the width and length of the finned strip element, then embedded in high-grade refractory material which both insulates the wire and transfers heat rapidly. Fins are provided to improve the heat transfer to the air.
